Overview map | |
An oval platform about 48m long by 37m wide with a ravine to the north and a ditch and outer bank of the other sides marks the site of a timber hall of Bartholomew The Fleming in the 13th Century. The Gordons later built a stone castle on the site which was captured in 1647 by General Leslie and has now vanished
